Randolph County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host the Randolph County Public Candidate Forum at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, at Randolph County Courthouse in the large courtroom. The purpose of the event is to introduce the candidates running for Randolph County Coroner, District Judge, Probate Judge, Sheriff, County Board of Education District 2 and 6, Senate District 13 and House District 37. The objective is to inform as many citizens as possible of the positions of each candidate, reason for seeking the office, and their qualifications.
The forum moderator, Wes Kinsey, will introduce each candidate and present the candidate's biography. After the introduction, the candidate will be given time to state his or her platform to the concern citizens.
The community will have an opportunity to submit questions for the candidates. All questions will be submitted prior to the event via email at email@example.com or mail to Randolph County Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 431, Roanoke, AL 36274. The forum moderator will ask questions as citizens will not address any questions to the candidates. After the questions are read, the candidates for whom the question pertains will then be given time to respond.
The chamber hopes you will take this opportunity to attend this enlightening forum. If you have any questions, contact Dorothy Tidwell, executive director of Randolph County Chamber of Commerce, at 334-863-1402.
